Would still buy it though, time to analyse the pictures then.

Hmmmmm, I don't see any RPG-like bars at the top *scared*

One of the other screens out there looked like a turn based battle, so its possible its going back to a the original mechanics.

Was this at the conferance? Didn't see it.

Anyway, great to see Paper Mario coming back. I would imagine this would be a game to take heavy advantage of 3D.

Man, is the 3DS going to be awesome or what?

Paper Mario FTW  Definitely the game that could be the most visually interesting with 3D.

He predicted this and Kirby would both be shown at this E3. More impressive than taking the piss wouldn't you say?

My eyes weep from pure beautifulness!! :D

Paper Mario in the palm of my hand... (Well, two actually). That's too awesome for me to comprehend, even without the 3D.

Oh, this E3 will be remembered for generations to come! Well, a few years at least. ;)

This thread lacks my catchphrase:

Paper Mario anyone?

Hmm, it's no "Nice to see you, to see you... nice!!"

This is awesome. I'll miss the Mario & Luigi franchise. Looks like Sprites might have finally had their day.

Nintnedo had 3DS a demo showcasing NES games. Sprites aren't quite dead yet.

THIS!!!!! I want to see this pic in glorious 3D, would look so damn awesome >_<

I'm more interested in how this works in 3D.

On a standard screen they can simply have is as a simple optical illusion - the sticker is placed on the screen and Mario can walk over the bridge. However, with the 3D screen surely this would simply not work as the sticker would be aligned incorrectly.

My prediction: You'll have to turn the 3D slider to 2D in order to cross the bridge, or else the sticker will be floating in front of the gap.

That's a mighty interesting prediction and quite likely to say the least, if only to uphold the legacy of Super Paper Mario in which one would mess with 2D and 3D perspective.

Perhaps this time we get to fuck with depth :)
