A new son, and she splashes out on a "Nintendo GameBoy" to give him his first taste of "luxury"

Here at N-Europe, we found this news to be ever so slightly bizarre, to say the least.

Angelina Jolie has adopted more children than we've had hot dinners. So, three, then. She "picked up" the tiny orphan from Vietnam, and we guess that's a nice thing for her to do. Peace, goodwill and all that.

As a present to Pax (the child), she has given him a "Nintendo GameBoy." Now, to us, this means one of those old, grey, bricky and bulky game boys, that used a million batteries just to handle tetris. To the media, a DS, PSP, GameBoy Advance, Color, Game Gear, Saturn, Apple Mac, tinned cans of baked beans and Franklin's left nipple all probably fall under the term "GameBoy."

Mrs. Lara Croft's reasoning for the present was that "he has never had anything to call his own."

Nice for the kid, but it seems like a rather odd choice of gift for the boy. Especially as he is only three years of age.
