News: Two New Wii Games From THQ Revealed

Destroy All Humans 3 and Wii exclusive De Blob have been announced..

German magazine Man!ac have revealed some new THQ projects for the Wii. The third instalment in the Destroy All Humans series will be heading to Wii, as well as the PS3, 360, PS2 and PSP. Destroy All Humans 3 is due for release towards the end of the year.

Man!ac also reveal an exclusive Wii game from TKQ: De Blob. De Blob is based on a free PC game of the same name - of which you can try here. De Blob is a physics-based puzzle game. According to Joost van Dongen, the lead programmer of the PC Game:

"It is a 3D game in which the player controls a ball of paint rolling through the city. The ball can absorb coloured NPC’s to become larger and change its colour. With the paint, the player can then proceed to paint the entire city. Almost everything is paintable: buildings, trees, cars and using the paint trace even the ground."

The game requires you to do colour matching and colour mixing (need Orange paint? Get Red and Yellow). The PC Game is fairly basic, and it looks like it will be expanded for the Wii. The graphics have also recieved a massive overhaul from the free PC game - thanks to a bigger budget provided by THQ. De Blob is due for release in 2008.

Destroy All Humans 3?
Yay, Wii-mote anal probing!!

Seriously, though, the first one of the series was good (haven't played the second seeing as I don't have a PS2 any more), hopefully this one should implement the Wii-mote effectively (See second line) =P

Orange and Green look similar to me. (Partially colourblind, you see.)

hmmm, what a strange choice of cross-platforming. still, guess it beats the now-generic Wii/PS2/PSP we have with some games.

Katamari indeed, but it looks interesting enough to warrant a second look, so I'll reserve judgement until I've checked it out.

And while were on that, I want to get back to another game that was also a PC game first and is now coming to Wii. There's already been 2 articles on this game called"" with a lot of dumb and unfounded comments based on people seeing a still image tyhat looks kind of ugly, so surely the game must be crap also, right?
WRONG, idiots! The name of the game is taste first, then say you don't like the food. Not just by looking at it. So I'm going to put the link here again, under it's original name, "Tumiki Fighters":
