Oh my lord, it seems like only yesterday that I was splashing away on Wave Race 64, blown away by the pretty visuals.

The virtual console making anyone else feel old before their time?

I'd love to see some of the Turok games from the N64 make it onto the VC, but i just don't see it happening with all the various rights involved :(

I used to love Dynamite Headdy, if it's the one I'm thinking of (by Treasure) but I really can't wait for Paper Mario as I've never played it on N64.

Oh and to Bendetto the PC Engine is the TurboGraphx we see on our VC. It was only called PC Engine in Japan, and TurboGraphx-16 in the US, it was never officially released here but we use the US name.

I've got Paper Mario boxed already, so I don't need an emulated version of the game I own in its ORIGINAL TANGIABLE FORM. But seriosuly, when are gonna see some NTSC games that the bulk of us PALonians HAVE NOT OWNED or played and MANY WII OWNERS AROUND THE WORLD are crying out for? Release some NTSC games in the like of Sin & Punishment, Earthbound and Super Mario RPG already Nintendo, and meet customer demands for once...

The virtual console is nothing but a waste for me at the moment, nothing I want that I don't already have... 4.7 million downloads could've been 20 million at this point in time had they created a better service with GAMES FROM OTHER REGIONS, enhanced PREVIOUS RELEASES such as Goldeneye with online and original content I know has been announced but why wait for a whole year? Typical reactiveness on the part of Nintendo, which has made them lose the past two console generations to Sony and could happen for the third time in row, despite the good start, if they do not account for the Wiis deficiencies soon. The obsolescence date of this system is in jeopardy, it has peaked too soon to MATURITY in the product life cycle, and is bound for failure unless they take corrective ACTION NOW and one good place to start is improving the VIRTUAL CONSOLE SERVICE with some of possible improvements mentioned above.
