News: Tales Of Innocence Trailer

Posted by Tom Phillips - Jul 23rd 2007 12:48

The first trailer for the upcoming DS Tales of Innocence is released, and it's looking gorgeous...

We recently reported on the news that Namco had a couple of new Tales games in the works. Innocence, for the DS, is set to star Rucca Milda, a fifteen year old boy who fights with a large sword, and Iria Animi, a girl of the same age who fights with a pair of pistols.

From the gameplay footage in the trailer below, the title is set to look amazing - like a version of the GameCube's Tales of Symphonia, but in the palm of your hand.

The trailer can be streamed from the title's official website, or for your convenience can be seen via the magic of YouTube by simply clicking below.

Hopefully that's just a voice speaking about the game.. and it hasn't got voice acting or anything, o
otherwise we'll never see it in Europe :(

Looks like the best DS graphics to date, include phantom hourglass and FFIII

BTW did anyone notice the guy with the eye patch was wearing something bery similar to Lloyd's jacket from ToS?

Before I say anythin else, this game looks awesome, though the trailer lacks J-pop. Still an instant buy if it's ever translated to Westron.

Denmegash: That was voice acting.

Everybody else: I'm sure this will come out in Europe, together with Doki Doki Majo Shinpan.

That looked great, if they consider not bringing this to Europe all we need to do is petition it, afterall it DID work for Symphonia.

Also anyone else think in the gameplay shots the main character looks like Trunks from Dragonball Z, especially with the sword and all

It does indeed look good but so to did Tales of the Tempest and that turned out quite badly. Good graphics does not make a good game. But this has been in development since development started on Tales of the Tempest began so hopefully it will be better and longer.

You're forgeting a few things Ganepark32. From what I've heard, TotT had almost no voice acting in the cutscenes, so this games already had an advantage over that, plus the battle sequences look alot better.

Oh and Denmengnash, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Rebirth both had voice acting, but they simply redubbed into English before being released in Europe and the US (and selling very well)

ToS lacked all the skit voice acting in the US and Europe though which was *very* annoying.

Dont worry guys its going to be released over here. They obviously wanted to show every1 around the world the game hence the english subtitles. And the graphics look sweet, this will probably be my first Tales of Game i'll get.
