Why are you calling FFCC " gorgeous looking" ?

It looks ok, but far worse then the Gamecube game.

I mean, wheres the fur?
Wheres the gorgeous refractions though the crystal?

Why have graphics on so many games taken a step backwards since the GC :(

I think the graphics have been toned down because it's WiiWare.

Yeah in the Wii screens story, the realy Wii FF looks a lot better than this, remember this will be a download not a bought game so it won't be as well developed.

Darkflame do you realise that not even XLA games look as good as FFCC?

So many complaints about the graphics of these games. What did everyone expect? The games are Wiiware, they are naturally going to be severly toned down games of regular Wii efforts to open the doors to independent/smaller publishers and larger publisers wanting to produce smaller more affordable games, segmentation of their gaming portfolio essentially. Most of the material that has appeared on Wii has been reject material anyway, so whats the problem? (other than severe lateness for which complaints in that regard are somewhat justified).

These are already looking to possibily bring more entertainment than two thirds of full software that have released on Wii thus far. Quite seriously...

I'm not a great fan of the genre anyway, but Star Soldier R looks like a very good substitute for Ikaruga HD.

Id have to agree with Sol on this one.
The games aren'tgoing to be graphically supreme but the gameplay will be more original and quite likely more fun.
