Anti-videogames lawyer Jack Thompson is facing a ten year ban from practising law. Full details inside...

Jack Thompson is the lawyer most gamers hate with a passion due to his increasingly outlandish threats and ridiculous criticism in response to games such as Grand Theft Auto, Bully, Halo, Killer 7, Mortal Kombat and the notoriously explicit Sims 2.

In response to his spiralling attacks, a Florida court has recommended he be banned from practising law for a minimum of ten years - with the final judgement due to take place this September 3rd.

His nonsense has been, at least, quite amusing, if annoying. I'm sure he'll find something to do even if he does get banned, though.

The worst part about Thompson is that he convinces parents of children killed in school shootings to pay him to do these kinds of things. He's basically running a giant scam, and the people he's scamming are grieving parents. He is not a very nice man, to say the least.

He wrote a letter to a Take-Two executive's mother claiming that he trafficks violence and pornography, and said that his mother was to blame for the success of the GTA series. He also added that she maybe 'trained' him up in the Hitler Youth.

This my friends is what you call karma lol! He went on a stupid rampage that was unjust and unwarranted and in the end looses himself. Perhaps he will take the time off to actually play some of these "evil" videogames and find out that they are no way near as bad as he thought.
