Media: Pokémon Platinum Trailer

Posted by Tom "Tphi" Phillips - Jul 22nd 2008 02:54

The first footage from the third upcoming DS generation Pokémon title. New stuff ahoy!

Check out this trailer for Pokémon Platinum, captured off-screen direct from Japan, the home of all things Pocket Monster. An update for the already released Diamond & Pearl titles, this game is set to feature new locations and updated graphics - all of which can be seen below.

Worth a buy or a money-spinner worthy of Team Galactic themselves? Let us know your thoughts...

This is bollocks. I wonder why I even bother buying the first "edition" of the game when an edition as improved as this comes out later.

This is going to be epic. Really, really brilliant. The Torn World looks amazing, new sprites, gyms, they look like they've put a considerable amount of effort into making this different. I can't see us getting it til next summer though... (though perhaps translation will be faster this time?)

wah! :( I already bought Pearl and although I do want this game I don't want to fork out an extra €45 just to see new places and 3-D effects however cool they were...

Also did people see the trainer using a flashlight! O.O
