Best looking game on Wii ever?

Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words - well, here's a couple:

The title is still in development by Capcom as a Wii exclusive - though no release schedule has yet been revealed. Click the images below for high-res versions:

Even more screens, though lower-res can be found over at the NeoGAF forums.

I've never played a Monster Hunter game before, but I'd be willing to give thos version a try if it stays exclusive, turns out reasonably well and is released at the right time. :)

@ S.C.G: Did you ever play Phantasy Star? If you did this is a game that took all the good parts of PS episodes and rigged it in 1 game

Nice! Glad to see some devs are beginning to use the Wii's full potential graphics-wise. Seems some of the 3rd parties are really stepping up to the Wii rather than treating it as a PS2 convert-a-thon...

It seems that Capcom at least have ditched the PS2 and are completely concentrating on the Wii. This is great as we will no longer have to put up with the ps2 conversions, yay for Capcom!

And suddenly the Wii wasn't GC2 anymore.:P I know that graphics doesn't make the game. But those screenshots are... impressive, to say the least. I especially love the landscape one.

What are the odds of this leaving Japan, then?

Nice. That definitely isn't pre-rendering, so... yay, I guess!

@Kagato: Yeah, but now we have to put up with 360 ports. ;P

I rekon theres a pretty good chance of this getting a US/UK release, all of the previous games in the series did on the PS2 and PSP respectivly, the Wii has the biggest user base now so there shouldnt be any problems.

@Maiky; I did indeed, loved the Phantasy Star series, if this is extremely similar to it then I'm more likely to pick it up. :)

I'm happy as long as it looks as good as MP3 ;) That game looks amazing. This one as well, but these screens do not say much.

Wow! These graphics are way better than MP3! I think someone with happy memories of MP3 has been reimagining it in their memory?
