Media: Fragile Videos

Posted by Joćo Lopes - Oct 16th 2008 14:24

See a new trailer for the upcoming Wii RPG Fragile as well as a gameplay video.

Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, developed by tri-Crescendo (responsible for Baten Kaitos) and the Namco Bandai team that created the PS2 RPG Venus & Braves is an action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic future where most of the population is gone and the world is covered with a mysterious fog.

It's up to Seto, a young boy to search for survivors and answers with the aid of several items that can be used with the Wii remote, the most obvious being the flashlight which is controlled by pointing the remote at the environments to solve puzzles, find enemies and also to fight. Other known items are the metal detector used to find items and a microphone, which with the aid of the remote speaker reveals the location of hidden enemies.

There is no word from the publisher Namco Bandai if whether the game will be released outside of Japan or not, but keep your finger crossed. Meanwhile we leave you with a brand new trailer and a gameplay video, both from TGS 08 as well as an older trailer.

This looks stunning.

And yes, it will come to the west 99% sure of that.
Something with this budget gone into it will end up here.
The question, of course, is when.

WOW, looks awesome, well we know from Baten Kaitos that if no release in the West is likely petitions should work with Namco.

But hopefully we won't have to wait for that to happen and a PAL release is announce soon

i want this game, i find it hard to believe that companies offten dont know when they have a good or bad game! when you have a good game, bring it to every man woman and child and say, buy it baby buy it!

@ Tphi
Baten Kaitis Origins won't be coming, you know that :) I bought a freeloader just for that game and didn't regret it. I found it to be a lot better than Baten Kaitos EWatLO, which I very much liked as well.

Oh and I didn't mind importing the Mega Man and Mega Man X anniversary collections while I was at it ;) Speaking of which, I should really go hook my Wii up to the internet for Mega Man 9!
