News: Three New Modes For Mega Man 9

Posted by Tom Phillips - Oct 21st 2008 05:32

More new downloadable content for Mega Man 9 soon to be available!

After a previous downloadable expansion to obtain Proto Man, Capcom's retro WiiWare platformer Mega Man 9 will see another update soon which will contain three new modes.

For those finding the standard version too easy, Hard and Expert modes will be provided, as well as a Special Time Attack Stage which adds a new level and boss.

Released this week in the States, Europe should see this new expansion Friday week. No price has yet been revealed, though Proto Man cost 200 Points to purchase. We'll keep you posted.

too easy? are you kidding me? still, back in the day id probably be able to take on a harder setting, now though my skills are much weaker and standard is about hard enough lol.

We've grown feeble with save points, unlimited continues and countless guides.

I still can't believe how people complained about FF3 for the DS. It was so much easier than the original on the famicom yet people whined and complained on forums all day. I'm starting to understand my parent's walking 5kms uphill in the snow to school everyday stories.

I find those "bonuses" to be lame. They're stuff that should've been included in the first place if your ask me.

It's clear that all the DLC could have been included with the initial game if it's being pumped out this fast.

No one is forcing you to buy them. So stand up and refuse to purchase them if you feel that strongly about it.

Referring to me? :p I don't feel strongly about it, I'm just making a point. It's better than Final Fantasy, where the DLC was actually in the game code, and you basically just purchased an unlock command.
