Developed by Romino Games (whose staff consists of the original creators of de Blob, comes an exclusive WiiWare title that features a curious mix of style, strategy and mindless slaughter. Swords and Soldiers is definitely one to keep an eye on, and if you don't believe us, watch the new trailer for yourself.

Swords and Soldiers will be invading Wii's in the first quarter of next year.

I played it against one of the developpers at the "Multimedia Event" here in the Netherlands last month. It's really cool ;D

This game looks awsome, but it is NOT unique or innovative. It's a clone of a game called Steam Brigade (http://www.pedestrianentertainment.com/) Infact, that games allready been cloned on the DS, though I forget under what name. So yeah, it looks awsome, but I hate how these guys constantly get credit for comming up with this concept, all they've done is take it from somewhere else and added a bunch too it :P

It may not be that original then, but I think it looks great. I love the art style. It's one of the few WiiWare games I'm actually enthousiastic about.
