Ubisoft announce a Shaun White: World Stage - a follow-up to last year's successful Wii outing for the snowboarding genre...

Shaun White' Snowboarding released last year on Wii to commerical and critical success. Ubisoft managed to integrate Nintendo's own Balance Board into the gameplay to make experience realistic, but more importantly, fun. It's only natural that the publisher has commissioned a sequel to launch this holiday season.

Shaun White: World Stage will release exclusively for Wii by the end of 2009. Once again developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the game keep the Balance Board functionality which made the original so fun for Wii gamers - and hopefully improve on the winning formula.

Ubisoft promise to show more of World Stage at their E3 press conference on Monday, so stay tuned!

Never got a chance to really play the first one, but read it's pretty good with the Balance Board, so if they improve on that, sounds good.
