Ju-On: The Grudge will be out in time to scare the pants off gamers across Europe this Halloween.

We fear that we may suffer multiple heart attacks this Halloween, as it seems the entire games industry is doing its level best to scare us to death. With Dead Space: Extraction, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles and Nintendo Presents: Style Boutique all coming out within a few weeks of each other, we fear the amount of adrenaline set to be running through our bodies will be enough to kill a small cat.

Rising Star Games have sent us quaking to our dooms with the confirmation that Ju-On: The Grudge, the "Fright Simulator" for Wii based on Takashi Shimizu's acclaimed J-Horror film franchise, will be hitting stores in Europe on the 30th of October for £29.99 / €39.99, just in time for Halloween.

We went hands on with the game yesterday and were suitably impressed (and disturbed) by it, so we should be in for a treat when it launches next month.

Rising Star Games..the home of Japanese Games eh? I wonder if they could sort out the mess Nintendo have with Project Zero IV/Fatal Frame IV and release that as well over here? The game looks interesting but I didn't find Ju-On the film that scary. Might pick it up later on this year.
