Google have launched a new set of themes for Gmail, including a retro gaming-themed skin!

Google have just unleashed a host of new themes for Gmail, but one in particular caught our attention.

The "High Score" theme seems to be based on retro games, with a Space Invaders arcade cabinet serving as the chat box, and with backgrounds that look very much like those from classic Super Mario Bros. games on the NES. The theme's background becomes blocky and moonlit at night too, which is something we seem to be stuck with at the moment, despite it being quite late in the morning...

"It's like being in a time machine," says Google employee Manu. Right.
