News: Classic Controller Pro Bundle For MH3

Nintendo of America announces a snazzy Classic Controller Pro bundle for the Monster Hunter 3's April release...

As part of Nintendo and Capcom's collaboration on the upcoming western release of Monster Hunter 3, the companies have announced a special bundle for the Wii adventure game's North American release.

Monster Hunter 3 will see a release alongside Nintendo's Classic Controller Pro - which is compatible with the game. US gamers can pick up the game and the new controller in black for $59.99 - just ten dollars above the price of the standalone game. The controller will be also be available to buy separately in either black or white for $19.99.

There's no word on a similar bundle for Europe, but the Classic Controller Pro has been available in the region for some time, so our money's on this being a US-only offer.

Monster Hunter 3 finally releases in western territories this April.

Already got my CC Pro for Tatsunoko Vs Capcom this friday, if this bundle gets released here I may get it as well, so then I'll have 2 plus 1 standard Classic controller :D

Judging from the Hands-On Classic Controller is probably the way to go because I don't know how they're gonna manage the camera with the Wiimote.

I played this at the Eurogamer Expo with the Classic Controller Pro - it's a marvellous little pad, it's worth investing if you have a lot of Virtual Console games, or if you'll use it a lot for Smash Bros., Monster Hunter and other Wii games it's compatible with. I'm considering getting a black Pro this week to go with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

It's a good little pad, great for a bit of Zelda/ Mario Kart. Glad I went for the white one though, black 'un looks a little too PS3.

I have a black CCPro, but I still prefer my good old GameCube Controllers. Can you use those as well in MH3?

It has now officially been confirmed that the game will be releasing on Xbox 360 as well. 100% no purchase now...

Monster Hunter is coming to Xbox 360, NOT Monster Hunter 3. Its a new game as Monster Hunter is not an exclusive franchise to one console.

Besides, even if MH3 was coming out on the 360 why would you not buy it?

Ignore Sol, He/She/It is an idiot, the 360 Monster Hunter game is a PC MMO Capcom released in Asia (and only Asia) back in 2007, MH3 is still Wii only.
