THQ confirm more de Blob is on the way!

At THQ's fiscal quarter report, the company revealed some colourfully titillating info for Wii owners. After acknowledging the commercial and critical success the platformer enjoyed last year, CEO Brian Farrell confirmed that de Blob would return by the end of THQ's next fiscal year (March 2011).

The original de Blob won us all over last year with its super-slick presentation and fun platforming.

No specific platforms were confirmed for the sequel, but it's a pretty safe bet it'll be coming to Wii at the least.

What would you like to see from a de Blob sequel? Let us know by dropping a comment...

This is terrific news! There's a lot of ways the game itself can be improved, but the top shelf quality animated sequences and the adorable characters were far beyond what most family friendly games care to achieve.

Here's hoping for more awesome mischief and more ARTY! I'd marry her if she wasn't a fictional green goo ball.. and something like 12 years old.

I loved the original, just fix the camera, shorten the length of the levels, get rid of the timer/lives and throw in some mid level check/save points.

Oh and make sure that the last boss isn't such a pain in the ass too! :D

Add a jump button and a bit of variety, please. But yeah, shorter levels would be great too. And boss battles!

There's a lot of potential here, maybe using the pointer to create your own graffiti? This could be everything Jet Set Radio is supposed to be.
