Ubisoft have confirmed which platforms their upcoming Rayman title will be launched upon - and Wii is the only next-gen console...

After we reported earlier speculation that the Wii would have the title exclusively until May next year, it now appears the game just won't get released on other next-generation platforms at all.

Ubisoft announced today it would give the title, being developed by the award-winning Montpellier studio in France, a worldwide release on the PS2, PC, DS and GBA as well as Wii in late 2006. Of course, in the future there is nothing to stop Ubisoft porting the title to PS3 or Xbox 360, but at this juncture it does appear unlikely.
