News: Wii Web Browser Dated

You'll be able to browse the web just in time for Christmas.

Since you're reading this, we're assuming you already have some sort of web-browsing facility. But soon you'll be able to play Zelda and check N-Europe without having to leave your coach, thanks to Opera's web browser for the Wii. Nintendo blog Codename Revolution has noted the appearance of the December 23rd date on Nintendo Sweden's website. The American release awaits confirmation.

Wow, it would be funny (albeit fair) if Europe got it 1st, Japan 2nd, and United States 3rd.

For christmas? I count myself lucky if I'd be able to get a Wii before christmas to begin with. Bunch of NOE slackers.

Its just nice to hear the browser is coming this year instead of next. Another +1 for the Wii channel menu.

Since the web browser for Wii is produced in Norway, it's fair that it's out first in Europe. xD

Yeah, but I can do all this from my laptop. Hence why I don't have a DS Browser.

Yeah, but's kind of hard to have your laptop on your chest while surfing. Trust me, I've tried to do so and it wasn't succesful. But, a DS Browser would definitely help there. ;P
