E3 2003: Pac-Man Confirmed *

Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed the rumoured GameCube and Game Boy Advance versions of Pac-Man, and Namco have approved the go-ahead to produce the title.

A few days ago Cube-Europe revealed that Pac-Man was indeed GameCube bound, and today Shigsy himself confirmed that very news. The creator of Mario stepped out in front of the inspired crowd and revealed the title, as well as it's GBA/GCN link-up we revealed a few days ago, and then proceeded to play the title with Tooru Iwatini, creator of the Pac-Man series, Will Wright, creator of The Sims and George Harrison, of Nintendo Of America. Shigsy proclaimed that if Nintendo won, Namco would have to approve the title. Shigsy then proceeded to do just that, and Namco approved the title and development commences. We will have more on this as it comes to us. You can check out the previous story, with all the gameplay details here.
