E3 2010: 3DS Wins Best Of Show

No surprises as to the critic's favourite piece of tech on show at E3...

Despite both Microsoft and Sony launching new movement control systems for their own home consoles, it was Nintendo's new glasses-free 3D handheld which most wowed those present. That's according to the annual Game Critics: Best of E3 2010 awards, which certify the 3DS as "Best of Show".

With a list of over 73 titles in production including some of Nintendo's own biggest franchises, it's little wonder the system has a lot of people hyped - also winning "Best Hardware".

Praise was also aimed at multi-platform titles Portal 2 and Rage - although the Wii was seemingly lacking of any award-worthy material altogether. Destructoid has a full rundown of the winners here.
