With MadWorld out the door and Bayonetta still taking up some limelight, it's easy to forget about Platinum Games' DS title in the works - Infinite Space. The space epic is jointly developed with team members of Nude Maker; the same people responsible for the Clock Tower games.

Infinite Space promises one of the most engrossing experiences on DS. Players can completely customise their ship, choosing from a range of over 150 design blueprints and 200 unique crew members. After you've tweaked it to become the pefect starship; explore the galaxy or fight real-time space battles. The main plot is loosely based on Arthur C Clarke's Childhood's End.

Infinite Space is due out in Japan this June, with a Western release not yet confirmed.
