New Runner2 gameplay trailer
With great titles like Little Inferno, Trine 2: Director's Cut, and Mighty Switch Force HD already proving to be popular with early Wii U adopters, the home console's eShop looks to be enjoying a great start.
What is yet to be established is whether a second wave of downloadable greats can continue the momentum, but we can't think of any better candidate than the latest from Bit.Trip creators Gaijin Games.
Their next title is a first for them - it is actually a straight sequel to one of the games in the trippy WiiWare series, namely Bit.Trip Runner. Runner2, or, Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, to give it its full title, is heading to Wii U early next year.
This time, the franchise's retro, pixelated graphics are replaced by a more realistic look, but the aim is still to guide CommanderVideo to the end of each musically rich level. Check out a new gameplay trailer courtesy of NintenDaan.
