A 3DS spike sees the handheld sell more than all other systems combined last week...

The latest Japanese charts from Media Create (via NeoGAF) are in, and Nintendo's forever-doomed handheld saw sales rise to its highest levels since mid-August.

The sudden rise in sales was no doubt indebted to the release of the Misty Pink version (coming to our shores in November). It certainly wasn't down to any new software, as not a single 3DS game broke the 8,000 mark for the week.

The software chart for the week of October 17th to October 23rd is as follows (life-to-date figures are in parentheses).
