News: 3DS Hardware Leaked?

Want to see what the inside of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS looks like?

Well, of course you do. And, according to Edge, this is probably it. Found online in a submission to the US Federal Communications Commission merely as a demonstration of the forthcoming product's Wi-Fi features, the picture below details the 3DS in test kit form, with plenty of details to pore over.

Filed by Nintendo and electronics company Mitsumi and uncovered by WirelessGoodness, the hardware below includes a widescreen 3D screen on top, using Sharp's auto-stereoscopic 3D technology. The bottom screen is the standard 4:3 design from previous models of the DS, which will run without 3D capabilities.

The picture also shows stereo speakers, and slots for both a DS cartridge and an SD card. We'll know the full specs for sure next month at E3. Stay tuned!
