News: 3DS System Update 2.1.0-3

Just some minor bug fixes.

If you haven't yet received your blue LED notification or ventured into the 3DS eShop, then you may be unaware that Nintendo have released new system update for you to download. The new update does not add any new features however, merely fixing some bug issues such as the screen freeze issue the previous update caused for Ridge Racer 3D.

The update also includes "futher system stability improvements and other adjustments", likely fixing the bug that caused the orange charging light to remain on after a 3DS was fully charged for some users. Which was also caused by the previous update. (ed- I'm charging mine now to confirm this.)

If you had not updated your 3DS firmware last week to version 2.1.0-2, this firmware will of course add new features provided by the previous such as the eShop and Internet Browser.

Also of note, while Thrusdays was said to be the day the eShop would receive new content; for the moment it appears the European eShop still offers the same content as it did yesterday. While the US eShop appears to have added the Gameboy Donkey Kong to its Virtual Console.

Update:
It does indeed appear the charge light issue has been fixed by the new update.
