News: Amazon Also Offering 3DS for 115

Amazon matches Tesco's Nintendo 3DS point as the price war continues.

Earlier in the week we reported that Tesco would be offering the Nintendo 3DS for an incredible 115. Seeing as the price of the console in Europe is set by retailers once again they are all fighting to get the cheapest deals or offer the best bundles and Amazon has now entered the fray.

Just a few hours ago we mentioned that the online retailer was selling the console for 159.99 but it seems we were too early for them as their listing for both the Cosmic Black and Aqua Blue versions has now gone down to 115.

This now means gamers can pick up the console for 115 online through Amazon or in shops thanks to Tesco. The supermarket chain Morrisons is offering the console for 120 and games for 25, The Hut is offering the console for 129.85 with games from 14.85 and Best Buy is offering it for 129.99. Recently opened online retailer Gamestop is offering the console for 134.97, Choices is offering it for 137.99 and Sainsbury's and Play are both offering it for 139.99. Game, Gamestation and HMV seem to be most expensive so far with a price point of 149.99.

We'll keep you updated with any developments in this new price war as it happens but feel free to let us know if you spot any bargains.

Update

Amazon seems to keep changing their mind about the price. At the time this article was published this morning both colours were 115. Aresorum commented an hour ago that the Aqua Blue version was 155 and the Cosmic Black version was 115. At this moment the Cosmic Black version is still 115 while the Aqua Blue version is 134 so it seems the Aqua Blue version keeps changing in price but we'll do our best to update you with the current price, which should hopefully be fixed soon.
