Electronic Arts today officially announced plans to publish the hugely successful game Dead to Rights on the Nintendo GameCube and PS2 platforms. Both versions will be released next August in all PAL territories.

Dead To Rights is an intense, hard-hitting, action-thriller game in which police officer Jack Slate discovers and unravels a conspiracy that threatens not only himself, but the city he has sworn to protect, Grant City. Jack Slate's adventure has him progressing through various game chapters by taking out hostile threats, solving challenging puzzles and mini-games, and defeating sinister bosses.

Update: New Release Date

The press release stated this game would be released this August. However EA today told Cube-Europe they expect to ship the game mid July in Europe. So that is a bit earlier than previously announced. Way to go EA!
