News: Drawn To Wii

Move over Bob Ross. Drawn To Life sketches itself to the Wii...

Brian Ferrell, President of THQ has today confirmed in his conference call with investors, that a Wii version of the DS incarnation of Drawn To Life was in the middle of being 'prepped' by 5th Cell. So far there isn't anymore details regarding the Wii version at the moment.

Currently no sales figures of the game has been released since the games debut in September 2007, during the conference call it was stated that "several hundred thousand units worldwide" has been sold and that thanks to the success of the DS, the DS sales for the company have risen 94% over the past three fiscal quarters, mostly due to the success of Drawn To Life.

Brian Ferrell also said that he is happy with the success and wanted "to extend the brand to the Wii in the future" and that other Wii exclusives would be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Drawn To Life made the user draw and create the main character of the game via the touchscreen to make their own unique character to save a town filled with fox like characters from an evil curse.

The question remains, will it be easier to draw on the Wii compared to the DS? Or will moving your hand in the air make your character squigly? Stick to N-Europe to find out...
