Remember when Championship Manager rocked the PC world? Well, soon you could be experiencing something very similar on the Nintendo DS as football management finally comes to the portable that seems perfectly suited for it!

Roger Womack, who not only worked on Championship Manager but designed FA Premier League Manager, has revealed that he has created a new management title exclusively for the DS. Football Director has been meticulously designed "from the ground up to take advantage of the DS's unique hardware". Furthermore, the title will include a 3,800 player database drawn from leagues around the world and will give players the chance to take control of their favourite team.

Just like previous football management titles, Football Director will give players the ability to use tactics to develop their squad, dabble in the transfer market, hire or fire backroom staff, deal with a youth team and engage in a financial system where users will have access to club wages, contracts and more!

Certainly a title which could capture many sporting gamers hearts, Football Director will be hitting the DS in September.
