Confirmed: Nintendo of Australia's media summit confirms that the two titles will be hitting us sooner rather than later!

Following on from the rumoured June release of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Nintendo of Australia confirms that both Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will be released this summer on the Wii.

What is worth taking note of however, is that Greg Arthurton from Nintendo of Australia emphasised that these are not the holiday titles for the year, which leaves a window open for other big title(s). So let's not forget that Zelda Wii, which is set to be unveiled at E3 later this year, has had mentions of a late 2010 release.

Also, according the twitter account of ONM Australia's Mark Serrels, Metroid: Other M will be unveiled tomorrow at the Nintendo of America media summit.
