News: Jungle Beat Wii-Make Includes Extra Content

New levels and more for Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, as it makes the transition to Wii!

The latest news on Nintendo's GameCube game remake series is that it will be including new content for some titles - including the first game in the range, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Existing levels will be tightened up, with various elements moved around, mid-level check points added, and a number of entirely new stages built especially for this new Wii version.

The game's controls are now mapped to the buttons of the Wii-mote, with a few gestures such as punching being mapped to motion controls. Functionality for the GameCube's bongo controllers has, as expected, been removed.

The second title in the range, Pikmin, will also see its controls rejigged - pointing to control your Pikmin is now the order of the day, with A used to throw the little critters, and B to whistle them back.
