Nintendo confirmed what has been speculated and feared for a while; Kirby's Epic Yarn won't be released in Europe until next year.

While numerous sources have previously suggested Kirby's Epic Yarn won't be hitting European shores until 2011 it was unfortunately confirmed by Nintendo that this is the case.

The title sees Kirby in his first platform title for many years and fans hoped it would join Nintendo's end-of-year releases such as Metroid: Other M, Professor Layton and the Lost Future and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Looks like European fans will have to wait to get their mitts on the knitted Kirby but you can always read our impressions to find out what we thought of the title.
