A new Japanese magazine scan has revealed new info about Mario Baseball, however as its Japanese all we can do is go "ooh pretty pictures."

Without being able to read Japanese there is little info that can be derived from the magazine article below. While it would seem that you can play as Mario, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi and Donkey Kong (judging from the box on the second page) a Delfino Island resident can also be seen playing, so there will probably be unlockable characters.

There also seems to be "power shots", seen on the far left, similar to Mario Power Tennis. In the bottom left there are tiny screens of what looks to be a fireworks show. This may happen when you win a game, but by the words "297 points" it may be a mini-game.
