News: Mario Galaxy 2 Wins BAFTA

Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been awarded 'Best Gameplay' at the BAFTAs.

Last night the GAME British Academy Video Games Awards were held and members of the industry gathered to honour titles released in the last year. Nintendo's own Super Mario Galaxy 2 was given the 'Best Gameplay' award, beating other nominees such as Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

Numerous other Nintendo titles, as well as 3rd party Wii and DS titles, were up for awards but unfortunately lost out. The full list of winners can be found below.
