So what's coming up in Nintendo and Hudson's latest Mario Party game? Well, eight players can now join in all at the same time by two people sharing a gamepad. Plus there are six new game boards, two new characters and 86 new mini-games.

Players will be battling it out to get the stars round Grand Canal, Pagoda Peak, Pyramid Park, Neon Heights, Windmillville and Bowser's Enchanted Inferno.

It's now confirmed the two new characters are Dry Bones and Birdo, and that 11 of the new mini-games will support the packaged microphone, although they can be played without it if preferred.

Party Cruise is the main mode of the game, where up to eight players will make their way around one of six massive game boards, playing minigames and using items to thwart their opponents' hopes and dreams. (With eight players, they split into two teams of four and cooperate on everything from minigames to rolling the dice).

If you're looking for a one-on-one battle against a friend or the computer, Solo Cruise is the mode for you. In the Deluxe Cruise mode, you can choose from free play, tournament, decathlon and dueling options as well as two brand-new rule sets.

There's even an in-game Duty-Free Shop where players can exchange mileage points and items for awesome unlockables and other fun prizes.
