News: Minority Report

Activision have revealed some more details on their upcoming film-based game, Minority Report. Players will assume the role of Officer John Anderton, who was so perfectly portrayed by Tom Cruise in the movie which was released earlier this month.

Activision are keen to hint at their ambitious IC System (Intuitive Clue System) to feature in the game. Requiring you to collect are number of well-placed objects scattered throughout the levels, you will be able to unlock various pre-programmed events which will either hinder or enhance your progress.

The California-based publisher are promising 15 levels to feature in the final cut. A full roster of weapons will realised in the game including electro-pulse grenades, riot firearms, vortex rifles and full-throttle shotguns. We hasten to guess that there'll be a number of gadgets such as stun batons, laser guns and futuristic PDAs. Vehicles expected to appear include Hoverships and the infamous Mag-lev car hybrid.

Expect Minority Report to hit stores lates 2002. More updates soon. Minority Report (the movie) is on general release across Europe right now. Go and check it out at your local Cinema or Kino.
