Representatives from Nintendo of America and Nintendo UK claim that there are no plans for the pink 3DS in their territories.

The Misty Pink Nintendo 3DS was announced on Tuesday alongside a number of games at Nintendo's 3DS conference. The console is due to launch in Japan this October but it seems other territories will have to wait.

VG247 has contacted Nintendo UK and Nintendo of America about the colour variant and neither of them confirmed that it was coming to their respective territories.

Nintendo UK stated that they have "nothing to announce at this time," while a Nintendo of America representative said that they were "not aware" of plans to bring it out in America.

Different Nintendo regions usually don't confirm or deny anything until they are ready to make an official announcement but with the company trying to increase 3DS sales we're sure new colours would help attract some more buyers.
