News: Resident Evil Deadly Silence Trailer

The trailer for the new dual-screened survival horror remake is now available.

Capcom Japan has posted a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil Deadly Silence. It can be downloaded here.

The game, though now remade multiple times, is intended as a marker for the coming 10th anniversary of the Resident Evil series (known as Bio Hazard in Japan) and promises to fully integrate usage of the DS' unique functionality. To this end, players can expect to utilize the dual screens as a convenient map and status screen while the touch screen is used for a variety of side games such as 3rd-person knifing and wiping away blood. The trailer also highlights the wireless multiplayer additions that comprise one of this REmake's key new features.

Resident Evil Deadly Silence is scheduled for a January 19th 2006 rollout in Japan in both a standard and Limited Edition pack. The game is tentatively scheduled for Western audiences not long after, perhaps as early as February. R-E will be sure to keep you informed on the latest details concerning this new uh, RE...so stay tuned.
