Ridge Racer for Nintendo DS has been confirmed for a European release on 3rd June!

Ridge Racer DS will make use of the handheld's Touch Screen for steering, and can also have up to 6 players competing in a wireless multiplayer mode.

The game is to feature 32 cars, each with different attributes of speed, acceleration and handling, and 20 different tracks. Ridge Racer DS also includes special Nintendo and Namco themed cars.

Different racing modes include Time Attack, Grand Prix (with the player competing against 11 computer-controlled cars) and Car Attack mode, where new cars can be won in head-to-head races.
