Star Fox 64 3D will not feature an online mode.

During the recent retailers meeting held by Nintendo in Japan the upcoming Star Fox 64 3D was demonstrated and one retailer took to Twitter to share some information about what fans can expect.

Star Fox 64 3D will feature three different modes: 3DS mode, N64 mode and Battle mode. The difference between 3DS mode and N64 mode is the way in which you control the game. While in 3DS mode you use the gyro sensor to control the Arwing in the N64 mode you use more traditional controls.

Battle mode pits you against up to four players, each identified by an icon on screen, and will support download play. However, Star Fox 64 3D will not support online gameplay so you won't be able to compete with gamers on the other side of the world.
