Retailers in the UK have dropped the 3DS price for the Easter weekend.

As people prepare for a weekend of gorging on food and chocolate UK retailers are hoping a price drop for the 3DS will encourage people to pick up the newly released console. While the console's price was dropped for launch it slowly crept back up but now several retailers are offering the console for less again.

Game, HMV and Amazon are all offering the console for �179.99 at the moment, with Gamestation set to follow. Other retailers such as Play and ShopTo still have it listed for just under �200 but whether or not they will follow suite remains to be seen.
