Worms: Battle Islands has been given a release date and thankfully it's soon.

After numerous delays and an upgrade from WiiWare to retail Worms: Battle Islands is finally set to be released at the end of this month. Eurogamer are reporting that THQ have confirmed that the game will finally get a release on 26th November.

One of the biggest draws for this newest title in the long line of Worms games is the fact it features online multiplayer and is available to pre-order on Play and Amazon for only �14.99. We got a chance to play the game last year and it certainly played like a classic Worms game so hopefully the final retail version will be even better.
