Ubi Soft just now informed us that XIII will not be released early next year. Instead it will be released in the third quarter of 2003. They gave us the following reason:

"Because quality is always our priority, we have decided to take additional time to ensure that this game is as close to perfect as possible. The extra time will allow us to introduce new elements of gameplay and integrate specific features for each platform."

Hmmm... We are going to have to wait a looooonnnggg time to play this game :( However, It will add some quality to the GameCube holiday lineup for next year. We have now got our first game to put on next year's christmas list! Whoopie...
