Sonic The Hedgehog is set to join the Brawl once more as he has been confirmed for Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS. 

Perhaps now more than ever it makes sense that Sonic would be battling it out with Nintendo's finest as he's set to feature in two huge titles for Wii U this holiday season, Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Games and Sonic Lost Worlds. 

Not much is known about Sonic's moveset just yet but keep your eyes peeled for Sakurai's weekday updates on Miiverse!

Sonic is set to arrive on Smash Bros. in 2014 when the title lands on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
