Although I've never seen cops riding Lamborghinis, it should be pretty fun chasing delinquents with them in the game. For those of you who aren't familiar with the style of this game (which has already been released previously on PC), the point is to ditch the cops who are following you for speeding while beating your opponents at the same time. If you're feeling a little bit kinder and don't want to break the law then the "Be the Cop" mode is for you.

The environments of the 20 levels presented are simply breath taking as you can see from the screenshots. With a steady 60 fps you can explore landscapes such as beaches, waterfalls, and valleys while discovering shortcuts to outwit your opponents and the law enforcement.

A curious thing that I should point out is the difference of the GameCube and X-Box version compared to that of the PS2. First of all, these 2 consoles will benefit of a better cop-monitoring system, making the game slightly more difficult and more of a challenge for the gamer. Besides this gameplay tweak that favours the GameCube, there has been another modification, which might not do the same: the graphics engine. The landscape of the PlayStation 2 version look more polished than those of the other consoles, which have a less realistic look to them. But the graphic engine does provide better looking cars to the GameCube version, which offers a perfect lighting on its vehicles that reflect the beautiful scenery that EA, has set up for the game.

Outlook:

The game development is still not completely finished in view of the fact that EA might alter various aspects of the game, which might bring the games for the different platforms to be almost equivalent. Nonetheless, this is a racing game that should not be missed by racing fans of the GameCube.
