This week, the boys talk about the latest Nintendo related gaming news of the past week, and the latest e-Shop games which have just been released. There's also plenty of gaming related discussion, including Lee taking A Short Hike through a charming retro-styled indie title, Nick talks about his recent trip to Isle Delphino in Super Mario Sunshine, and Greg returns with a tale of triumph after playing through Dark Souls Remastered, in addition to grinding through Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 which is surely due a Switch port soon.

The big topic this week, is Falling out of Love with videogames, which includes games on the Switch, just gaming in general and how it can be tricky to find time for any hobbies including gaming, if you're not really feeling like it at the time; it's a really interesting discussion, which is well worth checking out.

Also, a reminder that there will be a special Podpals episode for #50 which will showcase views from our community of Mario games in general, this can include any game from the Mario universe, whether you've been playing some Super Mario All-Stars on your Switch via the online SNES application, or maybe one of the more modern classics from the upcoming Super Mario 3D All-Stars which will be released this Friday. Whichever game from the Mario series you've been playing, you can share your thoughts with us in any of the relevant threads on our forum and there's even a questionnaire you can fill out, the results from which will be feature in the fiftieth edition of this very podcast.
