Episode 53 of the N-E Café has hosts Lee Davies, Gregory Moffett and Nick Lone discuss the week’s events in NintendoLand, talk about their recently played games, and discuss what The Game Awards have up their sleeve in relation to Nintendo this year.

This is episode 53 of the N-E Café Podcast, an N-Europe Podcast. Enjoy!

This week, the boys talk about the latest Nintendo related gaming news of the past week, and the latest e-Shop games which have just been released. There's also plenty of gaming related discussion, including Greg checking out what the PS5 has to offer, by way of the Resistive Haptics contained in the controller, does it surpass the HD Rumble of the Nintendo Switch?

Nicks includes updates on his progress with Luigi's Mansion 3 as advancement is made through the floors, No More Heroes sees another assassin striked off the list and Halo 4 has been getting some playtime, but arguably the game of the moment seems to be Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, even if it is for reasons as variable as the framerate. Expect more impressions from the game in the coming weeks.

Lee has been vanishing into Invisigun Reloaded, a game which is a Shooter with a top-down perspective, focused on grid-based movement, with the main gameplay gimmick revolving around your main character and the enemies around you, being invisible for most of the game, depending on the characters you're using. It sounds like an interesting take on the genre, mixed with trial and error gameplay.

The big topic this week, is The Game Awards, which has been an event in the general gaming calander for a few years now, this year the format will be online only, as with all presentations, though it will be hosted from three locations. There are a small handful of Nintendo nominations, though it will be interesting to see how well a title such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons will do, especially noting its popularity this year, but there's sure to be plenty of competition on other platforms. Check out the podcast to hear our predictions, The Game Awards should be taking place on December 10th, 2020, it will be interesting to see what happens, as there could well be Nintendo related announcements.

All of this, and much more is talked about in this latest episode, we hope that you enjoy it and without further ado, you can find the link below...
