Last year's Spaceworl exibition showed us some video footage from 1080 Snowboarding 2, the sequel to the N64 hit. Left Field Productions was responsible for this title, and it was scheduled for release in the first half of 2002.
However, soon after Spaceworld it was said that the project had been cancelled and the game would never come out.
N-Sider now reports that Nintendo has found a new team that will finish the game's development, so the game will still get a release. Which team this is isn't known yet, but it's expected that we'll hear and see more 1080 Snowboarding2 at this year's E3.
