Oh, Captain Toad. Your release date has been shifted more times than Pink Gold Peach's gear-stick on tournament night. And while we thought that we'd finally get to play the puzzling platformer at the turn of the new year, it looks like UK retailers have other ideas.

Reports are rapidly coming out today that GAME stores in the UK will be putting the Wii U game on their shelves this Monday. That is despite the official line from Nintendo of Europe being that the release date is still January 2nd 2015.

Furthermore, it seems like some people who pre-ordered the title with GAME are already getting notifications about their orders being processed.
